90-Day Cancer Readmission

Non-Western migrants showed no significant readmission association with migrant density before the pandemic but did show one during it. Readmission associations with migrant density were consistent between Swedish-born and Western migrants before the pandemic. Disrupted cancer appointments in high migrant density areas during COVID-19 reduced access to treatment and rehabilitation, increasing the need for readmission. The pandemic period saw increased readmission associations across all three population groups, representing a notable shift for non-Western migrants.
