Sufficient bone volume is considered essential for long-term implant prognosis and stability. For severe alveolar bone atrophy, the most effective treatment technique remains unsettled. Inadequate alveolar bone can prevent correct three-dimensional dental implant placement. Existing reconstruction approaches can be effective but may involve high morbidity and technical sensitivity.
