Assessment Tools

Independent completion with survey links or tablets can improve response rates for sensitive questions. Tablets can help participants with lower literacy by allowing them to listen to questions and answers. Aids can support completion and response rates during assessments. Assessment tools should be designed for or validated in populations with experience of homelessness when available. Public and patient involvement can identify unacceptable assessment tools before they are used.
