Overall patient attitudes toward genomics in healthcare did not change significantly after the intervention. The article suggests that genomics education alone is unlikely to overcome deep privacy concerns or structural mistrust. The survey assessed attitudes toward genomics in healthcare using nine items about stigma, curiosity, healthcare use, privacy, discrimination, and altruism.
