Attitudes Toward MGH

Women had generally positive attitudes toward MGH despite insufficient knowledge. The median attitude score was 37 with an interquartile range of 34 to 39. Breast self-examination was misunderstood because many participants did not think it could prevent MGH, even though its role is early detection rather than prevention.
