Auto-Brewery Syndrome

Auto-brewery syndrome is driven by the toxic metabolic byproducts that Candida releases. In rare cases of severe Candida overgrowth, the body ferments dietary carbohydrates into alcohol internally, a condition called auto-brewery syndrome. People with significant Candida overgrowth may emit a noticeable smell of fermentation or alcohol.
