A pharmacy-based lifestyle intervention increased moderate-to-vigorous physical activity at 3 months but did not sustain the improvement beyond 6 months. Structured STOP training improved pharmacists' readiness to provide smoking cessation advice. A 12-week lifestyle intervention in community pharmacies was valued for accessibility and informality, but some participants found it less tailored than primary care support. Sustained behaviour change was difficult when follow-up resources were not available. Alcohol screening and brief interventions were acceptable when delivered professionally, confidentially and without judgment.
