Biomarker Enrichment

Biomarker enrichment is intended to increase trial efficiency and relevance by selecting patients with higher event risk or greater likelihood of response. The trial uses elevated cardiac or renal biomarkers to identify ICU discharge patients at particularly high risk of poor outcomes.
