Biopsychosocial Care

The article identifies a disconnect between broad holistic ethical commitments and policy strategies that focus heavily on medicine access. The study uses the IASP definition of pain to support a biopsychosocial model of ethical pain care. Ethical pain management requires coordinated multimodal and interdisciplinary or multidisciplinary care.
