Cadaver Spine Experiment

Researchers could not interfere with the nerve signal while the nerve remained inside the spine. Direct pressure interfered with signal transmission only after the nerve was removed from the bone and placed on a flat surface. The experiment tested whether bending or twisting a cadaver spine could reduce nerve signal transmission.
