Previous quantitative evaluations found that more than 14% of targeted non-responders requested, completed, and returned a kit after CFAK. CFAK is delivered through in-person or telephone consultations that discuss barriers and support ordering a replacement FIT kit. Call for a Kit is a community-based bowel cancer screening intervention commissioned by NHS England Northwest in 2015. CFAK targets people who did not respond to their latest bowel screening invitation. The evaluation supports continued implementation and adaptation of CFAK in areas with low colorectal cancer screening uptake.
