Carbon-Negative Concrete

Carbon-negative concrete achieves a net CO2 reduction of approximately 32 percentage points relative to traditional concrete. Despite reformulation, carbon-negative concrete reaches cost parity with conventional concrete. The development of carbon-negative concrete began with a more modest goal of achieving carbon-neutral concrete before being pushed further. Carbon-negative concrete actively removes CO2 from the atmosphere rather than merely not emitting it. The material is visually distinctive, appearing black and resembling onyx. The formulation is complete and validated, and is ready for real-world beta deployment in residential applications such as sidewalks and foundations.
