Cardiovascular-related interventions were generally feasible and acceptable to patients and pharmacy staff. Validated blood pressure monitors and standardised protocols were important for reliable pharmacy screening. Implementation of pharmacy blood pressure screening was affected by calibration problems, low awareness, inconsistent training and visibility issues. The review identified blood pressure monitoring, cholesterol screening, diabetes risk assessment, atrial fibrillation screening and lifestyle-related services as potentially deliverable alongside vaccination appointments. Screening atrial fibrillation patients for obstructive sleep apnea serves two clinical purposes: identifying a possible cause and informing treatment strategy.
