Person-centred care treats patients as whole people rather than only as diagnoses or service users. Stakeholders felt HIV-specific concerns and support needs were underrepresented in research and absent from clinical guidance. Person-centred care emphasizes partnership among patients, informal caregivers when relevant, and healthcare professionals.
