Cell Classification

The nine cell classes provide a more granular cellular description of the tissue. Detected cells are classified into nine classes. Atlas H&E-TME identifies individual cells using a custom StarDist-based nucleus segmentation model. Cell classification uses a head with low-rank adaptation of the foundation model. For each cell type, OpenTME reports count, percentage, density, and average nuclear morphology measures.
