Cerebral Palsy

The article reports higher cerebral palsy prevalence in low- and middle-income countries than in high-income countries. Cerebral palsy results from non-progressive brain injury during abnormal fetal development and causes lasting posture and motor impairments. Cerebral palsy is identified as the most common motor disability in childhood.
