Both interventions showed moderate within-arm improvements in caregiver-reported child behaviour intensity after the intervention. The proportion of participants reporting child behaviour intensity above the clinical cut-off fell from baseline to postintervention. Improvements in child behaviour intensity were maintained at 6-month follow-up. Children of parents with significant emotional and interpersonal difficulties may be at increased risk of emotional and behavioural difficulties.
