Childbirth Experience

Positive childbirth experience is linked with maternal confidence, accomplishment, positive emotions toward the baby, and smoother adjustment to motherhood. The study used the Childbirth Experience Questionnaire 2.0 to measure childbirth experience. Higher CEQ mean scores indicate a more favorable childbirth experience. Negative childbirth experience can be remembered through pain, anger, fear, and grief or partly forgotten after trauma. The study examined whether childbirth experiences vary across Iranian ethnic groups.
