Procedural recovery tasks can make MG secondary within thoracic surgical care. Chronic illness-sensitive surgical care requires MG knowledge, structured guidance, interdisciplinary collaboration, and attention to lived experience. Surgical pathways should recognise that thymectomy does not suspend the chronic illness experience of MG patients.
