Trial eligibility requires participants to have an average VAS score of at least 3 and less than 7 over the past 7 days. CNLBP is a multifactorial condition involving not only pain but also physical dysfunction, psychological distress, and reduced quality of life. Chronic non-specific low back pain accounts for approximately 80–90% of all chronic low back pain cases. The diagnostic threshold for CNLBP requires pain of unknown cause lasting more than 12 weeks, excluding specific spinal diseases and radicular pain. CNLBP may extend pain into the thighs above the knee.
