Advanced virtual modeling tools capable of simulating planetary intervention consequences now exist and are historically unprecedented. These modeling systems can project outcomes of interventions far into the future when given sufficient input variables. The barrier to applying climate modeling to stewardship decisions is institutional will, not computing capability. Modeling capacity should be deployed systematically to identify actions that can prevent further climate deterioration.
