Co-production

Co-production is framed as an equal relationship between service users and service providers across design and delivery. There is little agreement on what high-quality co-production means or how to carry it out well. Young people with lived or living experience are considered to hold essential knowledge about their own mental health needs. The study focuses practical guidance on resourcing, flexible working practices, and sharing power with young people. Round one action statements include involving young people from the start and creating informal environments.
