Earlier CRC diagnosis has a major survival effect, with approximately 95% of people diagnosed at stage 1 surviving five or more years compared with about 10% at stage 4. A patient was classified as symptomatic if at least one colorectal-cancer-relevant sign or symptom was recorded in primary care during the two years before diagnosis. All four CCNs for colon cancer started from a higher cost baseline than the control group. Previous systematic reviews on CRC screening have mainly focused on broad population-level interventions or specific screening methods rather than FIT-specific return interventions. Early detection through colonoscopy is better than late detection, though it is not the same as prevention because it finds cancer that already exists. Half of all colon cancers produce no early warning signs, making recognition of subtle signals especially important. Early identification of colorectal cancer is strongly tied to survival outcomes, with earlier detection providing more treatment options and a better prognosis. Animal and human tissue evidence together establish a strong causal relationship between oral fusobacterium and colon cancer development. The evidence linking…
