Computerised Adaptive Testing

A computerised adaptive test could reduce response burden while improving targeting by selecting items based on previous responses. An item bank or adaptive testing system could help address ceiling effects by offering more targeted items across the full range of patient experience. Adaptive testing could route patients with poorer experiences to foundational person-centred care items and patients with stronger experiences to advanced collaborative care items. The 57-item dataset and Rasch analysis provide a basis for future item-bank development.
