Trachomatous conjunctivitis did not reach consensus as a separate condition but would still be captured under non-specific conjunctivitis definitions. Stye and chalazion were suggested but did not reach consensus in the second Delphi round. Blepharitis did not reach consensus, partly because of diagnostic complexity in population-based surveys. The first Delphi round reached consensus to include conjunctivitis, vernal keratoconjunctivitis, pterygium, and dry eye disease in population-based eye surveys.
