COVID-19 Disruption

The intensive COVID-19 period ran from 1 March 2020 to 28 February 2021. COVID-19 caused large reductions in elective hospital care in England. The main analysis excluded intensive COVID-19 data points to reduce pandemic confounding. The study separated the timeline into pre-EBI-COVID, intensive COVID-19, and post-EBI-COVID periods.
