CPRD Cohorts

The study used anonymised longitudinal patient records from the Clinical Practice Research Datalink. The analysis drew on CPRD Aurum and CPRD GOLD databases from English general practices. The CPRD data were linked to hospital, death registration, deprivation, and rural-urban classification datasets.
