Each one-point increase in SF-36 Physical Functioning was associated with a 2% lower likelihood of receiving disability benefit. Better SF-36 Physical Functioning was associated with higher work participation after adjustment. Daily functioning showed the strongest association with disability benefit receipt in the fully adjusted model. Daily functioning remained related to both work participation and disability benefit receipt after adjustment for demographics, other positive health dimensions, and disorder subgroup. Daily functioning was measured using SF-36 Physical Functioning.
