DASS-21

DASS-21 showed excellent overall internal consistency in this study. The study used DASS-21 to measure mental health status. DASS-21 was used to screen doctors for depression, anxiety and stress symptoms. DASS-21 includes 21 items divided equally across depression, anxiety, and stress subscales. The study doubled each DASS-21 subscale score before classifying symptom severity. Each DASS-21 subscale contains seven items scored from 0 to 3. Respondents rated symptoms from the previous week on a 0-to-3 scale. DASS-21 subscale scores were summed and multiplied by two to obtain final scores.
