The study is expected to provide a comprehensive neural-circuit-level analysis of social brain function in people with HIV under an RDoC framework. Potential clinical implications include social cognitive screening in HIV clinics and better targeting of interventions. The study follows FAIR principles for data management. Study data will be deposited in the NIMH Data Archive using harmonised standards. The protocol and analysis pipeline will be publicly available on publication.
