Daycare Quality Intervention

In treatment communities, the programme was offered to existing daycare firms, while the organisation did not enter control communities. The programme includes sanitation improvements, infrastructure upgrades, and subsidised fortified porridge. The intervention is expected to improve outcomes through hygiene, physical environments, caregiver practices, engagement, and nutrition. The intervention supports existing daycare centres through training, continuous mentorship, and a facility improvement grant. The trial evaluates whether exposure to improved daycare quality affects child development and anthropometric nutrition outcomes.
