DDInteract

Two DDInteract layouts were evaluated, one using three steps and one combining patient data and treatment selection into a streamlined panel. DDInteract was originally built for warfarin and NSAID bleeding risk and later expanded to direct oral anticoagulants. DDInteract uses EHR data to identify gastrointestinal bleeding risk factors and compare medication options. DDInteract’s medication coverage can be updated through a centralized value set without changing the core application logic. DDInteract is designed to reduce bleeding risk during anticoagulant use by supporting shared decision-making.
