Knee valgus can be reduced by cueing foot supination and femoral external rotation. Elevating the weight can regress the kettlebell deadlift by reducing posterior weight shift and squat depth demands. If the implement drifts forward, the moment arm increases and the lumbar spine must contribute more. Excessive lumbar arching and flared ribs are corrected by improving ribcage position.
