Consensus was defined as at least 70% of respondents agreeing or strongly agreeing with a statement. Round 1 of the Delphi survey ran from 24 August to 20 September 2022, and round 2 ran from 30 September to 30 November 2022. The study used a modified Delphi approach supported by a literature review and expert advisory panel. Participants rated outcomes using the GRADE 9-point Likert scale. The Delphi method is suited to building expert consensus when empirical evidence is limited. The Delphi survey was online, used Delphi Manager, and was available in English and Spanish. Participants were divided into a patient-family stakeholder group and a healthcare professional or researcher stakeholder group. Recruitment via professional networks may introduce selection bias, potentially underrepresenting perspectives from specific geographical regions or demographic groups. A modified two-to-three-round Delphi process administered on an online platform will achieve stakeholder consensus on which outcomes to include in the COS.
