Dental Abscess

A dental abscess is a fluid-filled cyst located in the gum tissue or in the pocket beneath a tooth. A dental abscess is driven by bacterial infection and causes significant pain. Excess sugar consumption creates a systemic environment that promotes bacterial overgrowth and is the underlying cause of dental abscesses.
