Mute is designed to last at least 15 nights, and a three-pack generally covers about 30 to 45 days. Correct fit is central to Mute's function and affects whether it stays in place during sleep. The sizing system includes small, medium, and large sizes, and a starter pack includes all three for fit testing. A properly fitted Mute should feel snug without becoming distracting. Replacement is recommended because the ratchet can become less effective and the device accumulates nasal secretions and body contact.
