Dietary Management KAP

Attitudes toward postoperative dietary management were stronger than knowledge and practice dimensions. Most participants reached the overall KAP passing threshold. Overall dietary management KAP was generally moderate to high in the valid sample. Knowledge gaps involved nutritional monitoring, stoma output management, and high-output prevention. Practice gaps included medication preparation, stool-thickening diet changes, and sharing dietary experiences. The study assessed dietary management knowledge, attitudes, and practices among patients with enterostomy.
