Smith et al. reviewed digital competencies in undergraduate medical education while Patel et al. examined specialty-level postgraduate programmes with limited primary care focus. Existing literature reviews focused either broadly across all medical specialties or specifically on undergraduate training, leaving postgraduate primary care unaddressed. No scoping review has yet comprehensively synthesised evidence on postgraduate digital health training specifically for primary care physicians. A language restriction to five languages may exclude relevant programmes from other regions, representing a limitation of the review.
