DiRe-RAPIDS ran faster than cuML UMAP on the 723K-paper arXiv layout test. DiRe-RAPIDS builds embeddings through GPU k-nearest-neighbor graph construction, low-dimensional initialization, and force-directed layout refinement. DiRe-RAPIDS released a topology-tuned preset based on the Pareto-optimal hyperparameter region. Spectral initialization was the effective default in the reported DiRe-RAPIDS studies. DiRe-RAPIDS is a GPU-accelerated implementation of the DiRe force-directed embedding method.
