Dynamic Functional Connectivity

The study extends biomarker evaluation from static functional connectivity to dynamic functional connectivity. Dynamic functional connectivity biomarker evaluation requires spatio-temporal ablation and hub-aware metrics in addition to generic sanity checks. Pearson correlations between ROI time series were used to generate functional connectivity matrices for each sliding window. Dynamic functional connectivity matrices were built from overlapping 60-second BOLD windows with a 1-second stride.
