Dysbiosis Patterns

Dysbiosis patterns can overlap rather than being mutually exclusive. Insufficiency dysbiosis is characterized by globally low beneficial commensal bacteria. Inflammatory dysbiosis is defined by elevated opportunistic organisms, especially Proteobacteria. Digestive dysfunction dysbiosis is driven mainly by impaired digestion rather than a specific pathogen or immune deficiency. The primary treatment goal differs by dysbiosis pattern.
