Education and Parity

Repeated exposure to maternity care did not appear to eliminate childbirth experience disparities across all ethnic groups. The study tested interaction terms for ethnicity by education and ethnicity by parity. Education modified the relationship between ethnicity and childbirth experience. Parity modified ethnic differences in childbirth experience scores. Higher education appeared to strengthen positive childbirth experiences among Azeri and Fars women.
