Japan has one of the world's most rapidly ageing populations, with an estimated 39% projected to be aged 65 or older by 2050. The drill is appropriate as an introductory plyometric activity for elderly patients who may be at risk for falls. Eligible participants for the trial are men aged 70 years or older scheduled to undergo prostate biopsy under intravenous sedation.
