Clinical exclusion criteria were significantly more common among men than women. Men had lower eligibility than women because they had more clinical exclusion criteria. A screening log was maintained for all 11,470 patients assessed for eligibility. Clinical exclusion criteria were assessed before non-clinical reasons were recorded. Participants with imminent suicide risk, severe chronic comorbidities, psychosis, mania, alcohol abuse risk, or inability to attend in-hospital activities are excluded.
