Eligibility and Recruitment

Recruitment began in October 2025 and the planned sample is expected by September 2026. Adolescents may participate while receiving psychotherapy or pharmacotherapy. Online registration for participants aged 16 to 19 includes welcome contact to help verify that the participant is genuine and within the required demographic. Recruitment occurs Australia-wide through prostate cancer support groups, nurse referrals, and social media. Recruitment uses online advertisements through Black Dog Institute social media, public registers, and posters in public forums. Eligible participants must be aged 15 to 19, reside in Australia, be fluent in English, have suitable device access, and have had SITBs in the prior two months.
