The review includes preprints because ambient AI scribe technology is evolving quickly. The publication window runs from January 2023 to March 2026 to reflect the post-ChatGPT surge in generative AI research. The review will search six databases: Ovid MEDLINE, Embase, PsycINFO, CINAHL, Web of Science, and Cochrane Library. The review will search PubMed, IEEE Xplore, APA PsycInfo, Web of Science, medRxiv, and ClinicalTrials.gov. The literature search will include Chinese and international electronic databases. References of included guidelines will be manually searched for additional eligible guidelines.
