Vitamin C and vitamin E have been shown in multiple papers to reduce pelvic pain, menstrual pain, and painful intercourse. Ginger is described as an efficient trial option because endometriosis-specific trials show improvement in the first menstrual cycle. The standard trial dose for melatonin is 10 mg per day. The standard PEA dose is 400 mg three times daily. Vitamin D correction reduces pelvic pain symptoms when deficiency is present, but supplementation beyond sufficiency adds no benefit. Vitamin C and vitamin E have the strongest antioxidant evidence base discussed for endometriosis. Curcumin and resveratrol should not be prioritized over better-evidenced supplement options because clinical trial data are limited. Melatonin has mixed but directionally positive clinical evidence for pelvic pain and sleep in endometriosis. PEA targets nerve sensitization pathways rather than only inflammation.
