Endoscope Simulation

Endoscope simulators have already been studied and shown to help prepare trainees for future clinical practice. The review excludes simulation studies focused only on endoscopic skills because endoscopy generally occurs in an endoscopy suite rather than at the bedside. Sengstaken-Blakemore tube placement simulations may be included when taught as a bedside procedure without endoscopic guidance.
