EPS Factor Structure

The final EPS contains 21 items across four factors. Natural product use captures parents' selection of natural and eco-friendly products for children. Prevention of toxin exposure includes following chemical safety guidelines and choosing safer alternatives. Protection from radiation addresses children's exposure to emissions from computers, televisions, and cell phones. Hygiene management covers cleanliness and protective practices intended to reduce infections, allergens, indoor air pollutants, and cumulative environmental risks.
