Within 10 years, age-standardised mortality was lower in the intervention arm than under current care. Among Black patients, early-stage diagnosis increased from 37% to 65% under the intervention. Among rural patients, early-stage diagnosis increased from 40% to 66% under the intervention. The article reports relative reductions in mortality inequity for both residence-based and ethnicity-based rate ratios. The equity analysis measured age-standardised all-cause mortality across residence and ethnicity subgroups. The mortality reduction was driven by improved stage distribution.
